| Cristi Quill Breaks the Record
The current record for the longest salt-water dive is 51 hours 20 minutes held by a man in Egypt. Last Saturday, a woman beat the record by 5 minutes in La Jolla, CA . It won’t, however, be official until all of the documentation is reviewed.
She managed to eat, drink water and sleep all while being about 17 feet underwater. All of the money Cristi earns will be donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of her mother who died from breast cancer last year.
