| Can Anything Live Within an Active Volcano?
A team from the National Geographic Society was sent to the Solomon Islands to study the Kavachi Submarine Volcano. It’s summit is 66 feet below the surface of the ocean.
Kavachi is usually erupting and spewing hot ash but on this day they were lucky as it was relatively quiet. They lowered their camera through hot water and an ash plume into the volcano to take a closer look.
Check out this video to see what they discovered living inside the volcano!
